[ The last Oracle being one hell of a time for more than a few people Yuri knows, he can't help wondering how a certain king is faring. Once people immediately around him are faring well enough that he feels he can take the time to himself, he reaches out via Communion.
It may not be his favorite method, but it may be preferable to stopping by unannounced. ]
You hanging in there, Dimitri?
[ He hopes so, but he's heard some wild tales about someone exploding... ]
[ Yuri doesn't take long to arrive. He knocks on the door when he gets there and waits, absent his usual layers yet still covered more than one might expect for summer. With the awareness of eyes on the lot of them, he's more reluctant than ever to allow any of his scars to be exposed.
Dimitri's seen them, sure, but strangers in town certainly don't need to. ]
He's switched. But he's also been attacked while trying to come back to this particular city.
[ He sounds very sorrowful about that. He shakes his head and leads the way into the small sitting room. There's a pot of tea on, it looks like, complete with two cups and some little snacks to nibble on. ]
[ Yuri admits, trailing after Dimitri. That was one tale it was impossible to avoid. ]
Maybe he just needs to find his way again.
[ Link was so very hard on himself, and it seems to him that his world only encouraged this. The weight of the world is too much for any one man. Thinking of that, Yuri plants a hand on Dimitri's back, if only for a moment. ]
[ Yuri seats himself with his typical learned poise. His last visit, he hadn't lingered terribly long, so he spares his surroundings a more attentive survey — if only for a moment.
When Dimitri speaks, Yuri's attention drifts right back to him. ]
Well, I never was much of a fan of so much attention, but I've been more worried about the others. Byleth was pretty ill after his revival... Do you know if anyone else was like that?
Late Takiltu

[ There's a flicker of recognition. ]
I'm managing so far. Trying to process everything has been... tiring.
no subject
[ Then there was the very vocal opinion of the general population... But he puts that aside. ]
Think you could do with some company?
no subject
[ And the fall-out. ]
How are you faring?
no subject
[ Not that Yuri had a smooth ride, but he didn't die for one thing. ]
Do you happen to be at your house?

[ Not that he minds getting tidbits about people that he might use later, but he prefers to actually seek them out. ]
I don't think I've got the worst of it. Mostly, it's just strange.

[ Some of it he shoots down. Some he allows to fly. It all depends, really. ]
Not so much being...observed.
no subject
[ Dimitri sighs. ]
My house, at least, is still private. So you can count on that.
no subject
[ Never hurts to check. ]

[ The lightest of teasing as he sets off for Dimitri's house. ]
no subject
[ He'll figure it out. ]
no subject
[ Were it someone else he might not say that, but this is Dimitri he's talking to. ]
no subject
[ Time to prepare for his guest! ]
no subject
Dimitri's seen them, sure, but strangers in town certainly don't need to. ]
no subject
Yuri - please, come in. I know we talked, but... how are you?
no subject
[ Yuri steps inside, pauses, and takes his shoes off. Hayame expects it done in her home, and he sees the sense in it.
With that done, he straightens and nudges the door closed. ]
Others had a rougher go of it than me, yeah?
no subject
[ Dimitri sighs. ]

Meantime, we'll save a space for him, yeah?
[ Dimitri, too, shoulders too many burdens. ]
no subject
[ He nods firmly, a smile dancing over his features and then he gestures for Yuri to sit. He starts by pouring some tea. ]
But... how have you been? Since the Oracle?
